From the moment I proposed to John over Christmas in Boise, Idaho, I knew that we were going to have an incredible wedding. Two wedding planners, planning their own wedding is bound to be an exciting project and a memorable event.
Being men, we wanted to go for a masculine floral design, that reflected the pantone colour, “Greenery” which I predicted would come in to play the following year.
Hosting our wedding at our own venue, Inimitable Wedding Venue in Muldersdrift, was truly special. The rolling lawns, beautiful river and glass marquees from Downings Marquees under the stars made our wedding beautiful and special.
Inimitable opened its doors for Glass Marquee Weddings in April 2018 and launced the Riverview Reception Hall in October 2018. Offering 12 gorgeous suites, a bridal suite, grooms suite and a stunning honeymoon suite alongside the river, Inimitable offers luxury at its finest.

Zavion and John’s Wedding
Two hundred of our closest friends and family joined us in our chapel marquee in the forest overlooking the river, for a ceremony of openness and love. Canapés were served under the thorn trees, whilst live music entertained the guests, before everyone joined us in the beautiful glass marquee facing the Zwartkop mountain. A high gloss black floor reflected the full ceiling of fairy lights and the stars above. Suspended over the dance floor were four massive arrangements that framed the dance floor perfectly and mirrored the flowers used in the six gorgeous flower walls that lined the marquee. A custom wedding logo imposed on the dance floor and the custom built bar tied the wedding together perfectly and made it a function to remember.
It was the highlight of our year and a truly magical wedding, and a clear way to show all who we know, that “we LOVE what we do!”
