The founders
Zavion & John
From the moment Zavion and John got engaged in 2015, they knew they wanted an incredible wedding. As two entrepreneurs and wedding industry leaders, planning their own day was always going to be an exciting project and a memorable event.
After searching South Africa for a venue that represented, not only perfection, but also a space that respected all cultures, religions and creeds, they found that no one venue stood tall on all fronts, and so they set about designing and building their own wedding estate.
Their own wedding became the cornerstone of how they want every couple and every guest to feel and perhaps, that is what truly sets Inimitable apart.
Now ten years later and as a family of four, their passion for life celebrations continues. They pride themselves in industry innovation and constantly work closely with their team to ensure that this family run business remains world class.

The Estate
Ten years of quiet refinement
What began as a simple idea of a reception hall on a riverbank has grown, deliberately and without hurry, into one of the country's most considered wedding estates. In 2024 every space was reimagined, keeping Inimitable an industry leader and giving its couples an experience measured against the world's best.
March 2016
Inimitable gets its name and the design team starts envisioning the estate.
December 2016
Zavion and John get married.
January 2017
Construction begins.
October 2018
The Reception Hall is launched and unforgettable celebrations ensue.
June 2024
A complete renovation of every space, keeping Inimitable an industry leader in design.
